Produced by Blackie & The Rodeo Kings bandmate Colin Linden, this was my first new recording since leaving Vancouver and forming B&RK. The rhythm section of Gary Craig (drums) and John Dymond (bass) and the gathering of exceptional talents such as Margo Timmins, Richard Bell, and Tom Wilson made this album what it is – a step away from the the more clinical vibe and multiple-overdubbing of The Assassin’s Apprentice to a much more “organic” exercise in spontaneity and trust. Very much a turning point for me as an artist.
